Session Info
Sessions may be held at the location of your choice. Session fee includes up to two hours of shooting time. Approximately 1-2 weeks aftter your session the images will be ready to viewed on the website. Prints are ordered from your personal gallery page for shipment directly to your house. Your gallery may be viewed by anyone who visits the website, or may be accessible only by password if you choose.
Plan on the session lasting between 1 and a half to two hours. I like to do a variety of some more traditional posed shots, as well as some candid, less formal images. If young children are included in the session, they may tend to get bored or goofy towards the end of our time together. Don't get frustrated if this happens, as this is when some of the best expressions come out and their true personalities shine through!
What to Wear
The wardrobe that you choose will ultimately be up to you, but here are some suggested guidelines for you to follow. The most important thing to consider regarding clothing in portraits with multiple people is keeping the colors coordinated. Its ok to have people in the portrait with different colors on, but the idea is to get them look good together, not clash with each other.
Try to imagine that you will be wearing every article of clothing on yourself that everybody in the portrait has on. Would your outfit look good?
You may consider going with the more traditional oufits for family portraits. Khaki pants and white shirts or jeans with white or black shirts always works well. If you have any questions about clothing, feel free to contact me about them any time!
